Health Insurance

I’m amazed, that the Liberal politicians in our country the United States have refused to learn from other nations, which have nationalized their health care system. All of these countries that have nationalized their health care system have implemented a system, which has been devastating to its people and to their country.

So the nationalization of our health care system, must be to gain control over the people of the United States, instead of finding away to provide an affordable health care system, for the people who need health care. Liberal politicians like Barack Obama want to implement a health care system that is based off the Canadian’s system.

Do you think that we can do a better job than these nations that have implemented a health system? Do you think that our government run health care system will be any different? If you think as I do, then you know it a fiasco waiting to happen. The United States government does a poor job when it comes to saving money or spending money in an efficient way.

So when we look at Canada, Germany and Great Britain and see the disastrous nationalized health care system they have. Why would any sane person want to implement a health care system like theirs?

Canada, Germany and Great Britain have a waiting list. You have to wait for an operation, for any non-life threatening health problem. In Great Britain they are refusing to render treatment to terminal patents, if the cost of that Medicine is too high or if it is an experimental drug that cost too much.

So when we look at Canada, Germany and Great Britain and we see a waiting list. Do you think our government will be different? Especially when Barack Obama said that the system he wants to implement will be like Canada’s. Well Canada at least hasn’t refused to render drug treatment to its terminal patents

I personally don’t want to be put on a waiting list, to receive an operation or treatment from a doctor. Now there are times when a waiting list can’t be helped, such as organ transplant operations. This waiting list is not based off of a government, not wanting to pay for the treatment. It is based off of the need to find an organ that matches your blood type and so on.

Now that being said, if I want to go into the Hospital, to get my knee operated on. I don’t want some bureaucrat telling me I will have to wait years and have to tolerate the pain because I don’t have a life threatening illness. I want the operation now. If I choose not to have an operation that is by my chose and should never be a mandate set by a government bureaucrat.

So the questions that need to be asked are; does a government have the right to force people onto a health care system, which a majority of us don’t want? Does that same government have a right to force you, to have less coverage and force you onto a waiting list, for non-life threatening illnesses? Last but not least, does this government, which is telling you that you have to have less coverage, have the right to raise you taxes to implement their unwanted health care system, they are proposing? To me the answer is no.

One must understand that a nationalized health care system that our government wants to create will not save us any money but will cost us more in taxes, than the cost of any private health care system out there. How do I know this? Well the federal government of the United States has a poor track recorded when it comes to saving us money. They always say they will but they never do. The only way we will know how much more, a government run health care system will cost us, is to implement it and then it will be too late to stop it.
