Ted Kennedy
Ted Kennedy
I wonder if Ted Kennedy is now answering for the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, which he caused by driving off the bridge, which caused the accident that took her life. I wonder if he is answering for all the bad legislation he got passed. I also wonder if he is answering for his views on abortion. These items which are on the Ted Kennedy resume, is something I wouldn’t want on my resume.
When I die and have to give an account of my actions before God, I surely don’t want to have to explain the death of a fellow human being or why I felt that killing the innocent through abortion was okay. I don’t want to try and explain away the hardships I put people under, by getting ridicules and bad legislation passed into law, which the people of the United States had to live under, while I exempt myself from those laws.
I’m glad that Ted Kennedy is out of the Senate. I see that with all his power and influence he still died. I am sorry that he died but I’m not sorry that he is permanently out of the Senate. He can’t get any bills passed by his influence. Most of Ted Kennedy’s bills should never have seen the light of day, more less, being passed into law.
The illegal immigration problem we are now facing is a direct cause of the bill he got passed into law in 1965. When he got this bill passed into law, he assured the citizens of the United States that we wouldn’t have to worry about illegal immigrants, flooding our cities or taking our jobs away, that everything will be okay.
This is typical with liberals, they make promises but they never deliver on them. Then when they see the failure they created, they have the charisma to blame someone else for this bad legislation. They do get a little help from their lackeys, the state run news media but people are finally starting to wake up.
Another bad piece of legislation that Ted Kennedy got passed was the H.M.O. insurance bill. We see that fiasco every day we wake up. I’m sure he had his hands, in on the Medicare, Medicaid and no child left behind bills that became law.
These two bills that got passed into law, did they make him a bad Senator? No, what makes Ted Kennedy a bad Senator is all his legislation that he got passed, into law, which took money away from the people who worked. This money was then given to people who didn’t want to work.
This money that got confiscated, by laws that were enacted by our federal government, which allowed them to steal money from the working men and women of this country, hurt our economy. Once you take away disposable income, you take the buying power of the middle class away. In other words they don’t buy as much.
This situation creates a vicious cycle for the middle Class, in our society. This vicious cycle, starts to destroy the foundation of our society, which is our family structure. When the Father of the family has his deposable income taken away, by an empowered government, he has three choices. He can work longer hours to make up for the confiscation of his money. He can find a part time job. He can even ask his wife to find a job.
So how does this hurt the family? It hurts the family by taking the Mother’s and Father’s time away from their children. The less time the parents have with their children, the more time teachers have to indoctrinate them into their way of thinking.
How does this hurt the family? When children are being indoctrinated by our school teachers, the parents can’t counter this indoctrination, when there working longer hours to feed and put a roof over their children’s heads. The vicious cycle also takes away the nurturing of the mother and the discipline of the father.
So how does Ted Kennedy come into play here? If not all, then most of his legislation is what created this vicious cycle. I sometime wonder if this was done deliberately, so that they could influence the young and get them to believe in a big-blotted, slow moving, inefficient government that will satisfy all their needs. This also might have been done, to allow them, to put our children under the control of the federal government.
So I’m not sorry that Ted Kennedy has left the Senate after forty some years of him being in public office I’m surprised that we still have a country left. Does the Kennedy clan still pose a threat to the welfare of the United States and its people? Yes, when you have someone who feels guilty for the money they have inherited. They want to make up for these bad feeling.
Now, they don’t feel bad enough to give the money away. What they do is get laws passed, to confiscate money away from the working class, which they give to people who don’t want to work. This makes them feel better about themselves, at our expense.
People say that the torch has been passed to Barack Obama and that he will continue on with the hopes and dreams of Ted Kennedy. I would have to agree with this statement. Barack Obama’s stimulus bill hasn’t worked and won’t work because he has taken away the buying power of the private citizens.
Barack Obama next piece of legislation is the revamping of our health care system, which puts it under the control of the federal government. This will be a major fiasco for us and our country. It also doesn’t matter, to him, that 80% of us don’t want this revamping of our health care system to ocurr.
So yes, Barack Obama has taken the torch from Ted Kennedy and has had ridicules and bad legislation passed into law, plus ignoring the will of the citizenry of the United States, is a must for someone who has picked up the torch for Ted Kennedy.
